How much time do you spend searching the internet using your smart phone? With the advanced capabilities of the iPhone, Blackberry and Droid devices, we are no longer tied to our computers or laptops to do advanced internet searches. But are your web pages mobile capable or designed to be viewed on a mobile device? If not, you could be missing out on a huge opportunity in your company’s web marketing.
Mobile landing pages are a great place to provide compelling information about your product and service and/or provide special offers. The key is to structure the copy so it drives home your primary messaging points in a small consumable format so it can be easily viewed on a smart device.
Think of it like an elevator pitch with directions - get straight to the point about your product and then tell them what to do.
You have a very limited amount of space, boil it down to the main message of what you want to say, and then provide them with a strong call-to-action with a very clear offer.
The goal is to:
1. Provide them enough information so they understand and get excited about what your product/service has to offer
2. Get them interested enough that they will download more information about your product
3. Sign up for any special offers
4. Pick up the phone and call
Be sure that your web search terms tie well to your landing pages as well, so you are delivering the content that people are searching for.
The Sage SalesLogix team has recently launched a mobile landing page for our SalesLogix 30-Day Free Trial. Check it out here.
And remember this page has been designed to be viewed from your smart device. So if you view it on your PC it will look very small.
