Next week is the Fused conference and I’m excited to attend!
I’m the marketing automation specialist for Infor CRM (formerly known as Saleslogix), and I manage the Salesfusion system within Infor CRM. We’ve had an exciting year using Salesfusion in synchronization with Infor CRM. My duties include managing forms, lead routing, managing the assets behind webcasts, deploying marketing emails, analytics, and much, much more.
We launched Salesfusion last year on October 1, and we’ve had multiple successes using Salesfusion’s marketing platform in co-ordination with Infor CRM.
The biggest improvement we’ve seen is in moving information to the sales team. In the past, we were limited to sending new lead information. While that’s important, it just scratches the surface of what’s necessary for successful marketing automation.
We’ve gone beyond new leads to transferring activity history to the sales team. Our sales team is able to tell if someone read the latest marketing email or visited the website, which helps them prioritize and direct their calls. The information is available in Infor CRM.
We’re able to create groups in Infor CRM for sales follow-up based on activity—no spreadsheets for us!
The information from our marketing deployments flow directly to the sales team. And we’re getting valuable information from sales that help us target our marketing efforts.
And we’re just getting started!
