The upcoming Sage SalesLogix Boot Camp (scheduled for November 5 through 8, 2012) provides the User Experience team with another opportunity to interact with real Sage SalesLogix users. We had a heck of a good time last year with our user analysis studies, but this year, we are trying a slightly different approach. It’s called Contextual Analysis and instead of telling our participants what to do, we will be asking them to show us what they do – what is in a day’s work for them. Why? It enables us to develop and validate use cases that are based on solid information. Better use cases build better workflow improvements.
Boot Camp is the technical conference for Sage SalesLogix developers and product experts from around the globe, so it gives us an opportunity to meet with the best and brightest. We are inviting participants to join us for sessions working with the Application Architect and the Form Designer. We are looking forward to the information we can extract from those brains! (Speaking metaphorically, of course -- we wouldn’t want the closeness of Halloween to give you the wrong idea . . .)
So if you are registered for Boot Camp, consider signing up for one of our Usability Study sessions. It will take less than an hour and it’s a great opportunity to make your mark on the next release. We promise it will be painless.
If you use Sage SalesLogix in your organization and are interested in enrolling as a study participant, either at Boot Camp or throughout the year, we would like to hear from you. For more information about upcoming user studies, contact us at Saleslogix.Techpubs@sage.com.
