Polish language support

Has anyone managed to successfully integrate Polish language characters into Saleslogix yet? We run 7.5 and whilst we know the SQL will support the special characters, the client wont supprt them and substitues. We have an office in Poland using Act! and really would like to run the DB from our UK location on SLX. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Polish language support

As Michael pointed out, version 7.5.2 will bring some unicode features.

This will only be available in the web client.

AFAIK there are no plans for unicode in the LAN version.

If you mean a localisation into polish, I am not aware of one.

I think it should be possible to store polish characters in the database, when your SQL Server is set to the correct code page.

You will then only be able to store the polish specific chracters (e.g. no german ones), but it should work.

I hope this helps you a little.

If not, feal free to ask!

Regards! Alexander
