In response to an RJL suggestion in the Replace Data thread (and others), I like the idea and plan to have our DBA start a massive cleanup. Although RJL has said it's not necessary, I intend to maintain the "c_" custom prefix standard to distinguish our custom fields from the core fields.
But my concern is that we'll come up to a fields per table limit. Is there such a thing, either real or recommended for performance reasons? If so, is there an easy way to get a current field count for a table?
Thanks,
Larry Esposito
P.S. If I ever have a child, I will name him or her, RJ. There seems to be some potency in those inits!
