salvaging a failed sync tran - 7.5.2 LAN (remote user/LAN sync)

Remote user missing Opportunity updates on an account.  I believe I've discovered the failed transaction with this error:  ERROR: Operand type clash: image is incompatible with text

The resulting SQL within the tran is

SQL = INSERT INTO OPPORTUNITY (OPPORTUNITYID,ACCOUNTID,DESCRIPTION, blah blah blah blah...) VALUES(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)

Which is obviously going nowhere fast.  Note:  the blah's are mine.

I've matched the params created for the insert and all seems fine (I'm not sure of the <blob> to NOTES but this var was empty so am still assuming all OK: Param9 = (varEmpty) <BLOB>.  Am I missing something here?)

Is this error message known and corrigible?  Can I save/salvage this tran so the remote user gets the Opportunity update he is looking for?  Work-arounds?

Cheers - Jeff.

Take a look at HF7 for 7.5.2.

It might allow the file to apply. Otherwise you'll need to cut a new remote.

Indeed, I ended up cutting a new remote.  We're also planning the upgrade to SP3 next month.

Cheers
