Hi,
Has anyone else had an issue where you cannot delete Opportunity Products even though you have access?
A customer of ours raised this issue which I could replicate in our eval v.7.5.4 demo system. I logged this with Sage support who were unable to replicate the issue so I decided to build a new v7.5.0 environment and upgraded it to v7.5.4 - Sure enough, it worked fine and I could delete Opportunity Products.
I then backed up and restored the none working v7.5.4 database in my working environment and now I can delete Opportunity products fine. This obviously points to an environment specific issue but for the life of me I cannot see what!
Both working and none working environments are:
Saleslogix Web v7.5.4
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64bit
SQL Server 2008
IIS 7
IE9
Any ideas anyone?

If anyone else encounters the same issue I have had with the new inline editing tab (Opportunity Product Deletion) To resolve it you need to remove the WedDAV Publishing Role within IIS.

That's correct, on Windows 2008 WebDav is enabled OOTB for many systems. Remove that functionality for your website as it intercepts the DELETE verb and hence causes this failure.

Any other suggestions or configuration areas for us to check? We have the same configuration and problem as the original post. WebDAV was already disabled at the site-level and we were still experiencing the issue. We disabled it at the IIS-level and reset IIS as well. No change; still unable to edit/delete Opportunity Products.

Did you reboot the IIS server after removing the WebDAV role?

Hi Adam,
An IIS reset was done. A full server reboot was not done.

That could be your issue then. When the WebDav role is uninstalled you are prompted to reboot the IIS server to finalise the removal of WebDav.

Still unable to edit/delete after a full reboot. Any other ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I assume you have access (Roles - Actions) set to Edit/Delete Products for your user(s)?
