Administrator Displaying wrong Active Directory Group. Why?

We have a situation where, after Active Directory changes, the SalesLogix User display for Windows Authentication is changing and erroneously displaying their mapped account.  For example..

User is mapped here in the Windows Authentication Box.

AD-XXX\TestUser

After Active Directory changes the display has changed to

AD-SLX\TestUser

however, this display is erroneous as the WindowsID GUID in the database is the still for AD-XXX.  How can this be?  How does this control in the Administrator get populated?

Re: Administrator Displaying wrong Active Directory Group. Why?

Admin uses Windows API to figure out the display name based on the SID.

It might be that the AD information is cached locally by Windows or that the AD stil sees the old data.

What version of SalesLogix are you using and what is the Windows OS?
