Use Resources Wisely

That’s right. Use them frequently, exhaust them, wring every last bit of value from them.
“Wait,” you say. “I hear ‘Use Resources Wisely’ almost daily along with ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ and ‘Shut that back door! You’re letting all the cold/hot air in! You weren’t born in a barn, you know!’”


Yes, I hear that, too. But today I’m talking about the kind of resources available to help you learn about your SalesLogix applications, how to research issues, find solutions and answers, and how to get direct assistance with the product. To use these resources wisely, you first need to know what they are:


  • SalesLogix Community – Read the forums, post questions, share your own experiences, learn how your peers work with the applications.


  • SalesLogix Support Page on with links to:
    • SupportOnline – Find upgrade documentation, compatibility checklists, hot fix downloads, reference guides, other documentation and 24x7 access to:
      • SalesLogix Knowledgebase – Find articles answering how-to questions, providing resolutions and workarounds, and other self-service tips.
      • Web Case entry – Enter requests for assistance with less urgent issues any day, any time, and the Support team will contact you within a few business hours (visit our CustomerCare site for Support Team business hours).
    • White Papers, brochures, data sheets, analyst reports and case studies.
    • Sage Webcast Center – Live or recorded, these webcasts introduce you to new product features and how you can get the most from your applications.
    • Sage University – Register for and access End User, Administrator, Developer and other Sage SalesLogix training.


  • SalesLogix Support Team - We have access to unpublished articles, customer and partner support case histories, remote diagnostic tools, pre-release product,  and years of troubleshooting experience, as well as Product Management, Development , Quality Assurance and other Sage teams.
