Here at Saleslogix, we have been hard at work getting things ready for new product updates and releases. We have some highly anticipated features being rolled out later this month and one of them is the Saleslogix Xbar. Just yesterday we started talking about Saleslogix Xbar, but if you don’t know what the Xbar is… I guess this is as good of a place as any to hear about it.
Saleslogix has always had great Outlook integration, and with the introduction of the Saleslogix Xbar add-in we’ve taken that integration to the next level.
The Saleslogix Xbar enables users to access their most important Saleslogix information and functionality through a context-aware window within their Outlook client interface. When a contact or an email is accessed within Outlook, the Saleslogix Xbar retrieves and displays key information, activities, and opportunities for that contact or any addressee from a selected email stored in Saleslogix.
The days of having to bounce in and out of Outlook or Saleslogix are over! You can create new contacts, accounts and opportunities through the Saleslogix Xbar. This can often be done by dragging and dropping existing information from an email into the Saleslogix Xbar interface. It is fast, and flexible but to me the best part about the new Saleslogix Xbar is the ability to stay and work within my Outlook client and be able to get all of my Saleslogix data right through the new interface.
We have a goal at Saleslogix to help everybody get the most out of their CRM as quickly as possible. A key piece to helping us succeed with that goal is the new Saleslogix Xbar.
We have some events to help us roll this new feature out the door, the first of which I will be hosting while at the Gartner Customer 360 Summit running from May 19-21 in Orlando, Florida. Saleslogix is a Silver Sponsor this year, and we will be hosting a booth (#211) during the Solution Showcase. Please join us on Monday, May 19, 2014 3:00 PM - 4:00 pm EDT for the Saleslogix Xbar grand unveiling webcast live from the Gartner Customer 360 Summit.
