It has been a few months since we launched IdeaLogix, and the bright ideas keep rolling in. Several of your ideas have already been slated for inclusion in upcoming releases, and most of the rest are under consideration with the Product Management team. This is turning into an excellent channel for the team to interact directly with the community to discuss the ideas that are shaping the future of the product, but like so many things, there is always room for improvement.
The PM team is working hard to make sure we provide feedback as fast the ideas pour in, and there are a few tips that will help ensure that your ideas get noticed. Most importantly, make sure the idea is specific. We know that there are whole areas of the product where you would like to see improvement, but "make it work better" doesn't give us as much to discuss as submitting an idea about a specific feature or feature set. Details, drawings, diagrams, and screencasts are all great ways to illustrate your idea and get the community involved. It doesn't have to take a lot of time, try a napkin drawing or a whiteboard snapshot.
We look forward to watching IdeaLogix continue to develop, so keep those ideas coming.
