Example is adding in Account.Userfield1
- Tools drop down menu – Information Designer – Elements tab - SalesLogix – Model – Data Table – Account
- Right click on Account and select New Column
- Data Sources tab – SalesLogix_Eval – sysdba – Account
- On right hand side of screen select Add
- Click on the Account field you want to add to Sage SalesLogix Advanced Analytics (SSAA)
- Save
- Your will be prompted to enter in an Alias for the Column. This is the default caption you will see for the column in SSAA
- Save
- Go back to Elements tab – SalesLogix - Information Links – Sales Module – select module (e.g.. Opportunity) – Right click and Edit
- Select the column element you want to add
- SalesLogix – Model – Data Tables – Account – click on element (e.g.. Userfield1)
- On upper right hand panel select Add button
- You will see Userfield1 added to the list of Information Links
- Optional – Select the “SQL…” button on the lower right hand panel. If this works your new field should work in SSAA.
- File – Save As – Library Item
- You will need to refresh screen in order to see new filter
