2010 CRM Initiatives and Customer Promotions

Welcome to Sage’s fiscal 2010.  As you know, FY 2009 was a year of incredible change and transformation.  As we begin the journey into FY 2010, I want to take a moment to share with you some of the exciting initiatives we have planned for our customers and business partner community this year.

 

First of all, given the dynamics of the market in FY 2009, I am compelled to introduce our Back to Basics sales initiative The Back to Basics initiative will feature aggressive customer and partner promotions, regional road shows, sales seminars, and executive engagement across all of North America.

 

We recently introduced our no interest flexible Easy Pay payment program. The plan allows customers to purchase Sage software with a minimal down payment and then make quarterly payments over a 3 year period. The program has been a big success for both our customers and our business partners.

 

In addition, we are pleased to announce the launch of our competitive replacement campaign, otherwise known as the Sage CRM Solutions Rescue Program. This aggressive program is designed to entice prospective customers considering a switch from their existing CRM to a Sage CRM solution. The offer will include the Easy Pay Option and deep discounting on license, maintenance and support, as well as a rebate to help subsidize the migration. The rebate dollars will be paid directly to an authorized business partner to assist in the conversion.

 

Next, the CRM team is pleased to announce our Welcome Back to Sage campaign that includes an assertive effort to win back Sage CRM solutions customers who have discontinued their maintenance and support. The program includes a minimal reinstatement fee, multiple-year discounts on maintenance and support, as well as rebates paid to our authorized business partners to help customers upgrade to the current version.

 

And lastly, the SalesLogix Cloud Initiative will define Sage’s CRM offerings for years to come. Although the SalesLogix Cloud offering is not planned for rollout until summer of 2010, we hope you will participate in the launch activities leading up to the actual release.
