Welcome to the Saleslogix Community. This community is provided as a service to its customers, prospective customers and partners to help them discuss Saleslogix products, by exchanging ideas, tips, information and techniques related to those products. This community is here for the enjoyment and benefit of all members and is accessible to all who register and are 18 years of age or older. This community is not intended to be a Saleslogix technical support site, but rather a user-driven site that is moderated by Saleslogix employees. Like any community, the value and enjoyment increase when everyone obeys certain basic guidelines and rules for online behavior. These guidelines and rules are presented here so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other participants when using the Saleslogix community. By registering, you agree to follow these community guidelines.
1. Use of Content
We are here, and we are listening to you. We want your great ideas. Saleslogix may or may not use your comments, ideas, or suggestions. Saleslogix reserves the right to use for any purpose including commercial purposes, comments, ideas, suggestions, code, products or services (“Content”) that are posted on this community without any obligation to compensate the individual or entity that provided the Content. By posting any Content in the community, you hereby relinquish any right you may have in such Content and to any future compensation for publication, use, distribution, license or sale of the same.
By posting Content, you represent and warrant that you either own or control all of the rights to that Content, and such Content does not violate any third party rights or Saleslogix Terms of Service. You agree that all opinions expressed by users of this community are expressed in their individual capacities, and not as representatives of Saleslogix.
2. Keep it relevant
For everyone's benefit, please stay on topic. The Saleslogix community is specifically provided to allow customers, prospective customers and partners of Saleslogix to help each other in using Saleslogix software. Please refrain from discussing personal matters, abusing any company or product, or, in general, from posting in a manner unrelated to the resolution of issues regarding Saleslogix software.
3. Keep it courteous
Everyone wants to have a positive experience while in the community - please make sure that you are not detracting from any other user's experience. In particular, please refrain from posting anything unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable or injurious to third parties. Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment ('flaming') in either the Community or through private messaging is not acceptable.
4. Keep it spam-free
This community is provided as a service to Saleslogix customers, prospective customers and partners and is not intended for the promotion of third party services, products, websites, or organizations. Please refrain from posting content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation. This does not, however, prohibit you from including a link to your external website in your community signature.
5. Keep it legal
It is unacceptable to post any material (i) that would infringe on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party, (ii) that contains software viruses or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware, (iii) that is deemed to be illegal by any local, state, federal, or international law, rule or regulation, or (iv) that suggests or encourages illegal activity.
6. Be careful
Most people are happy to help out in the community, but remember that their advice is theirs only and that your situation, configuration, or implementation may differ from theirs. You are responsible for deciding whether to follow advice given by a user in the community. Apply the same good judgment here that you would apply to information anywhere on the internet. If the advice given by a user sounds wrong to you, do not try it. Additionally, you should not post personal information in the community including your name and address, age, or phone number. Furthermore, if any user asks you for personal information, such as an account number, address, password or credit card number, do not provide it. You use any code posted by Saleslogix or third parties in this community at your own risk. Such code is provided AS IS. You expressly understand and agree that you bear all risks associated with using or relying on the code.
7. Keep confidential information confidential
You may not use the community to disseminate or discuss any confidential information of you, your company, Saleslogix or any other person or entity. You are solely responsible to ensure that anything you post does not contain information that may be deemed confidential by a third party. This includes any proprietary information, trade secrets, and the terms or existence of Saleslogix related agreements, nondisclosure agreements, sales or service agreements or other information that may be deemed confidential.
8. Saleslogix retains the right to remove content and limit users' access
Saleslogix does not generally edit or monitor content posted by members in the community. However, Saleslogix retains the right, at its sole discretion, to limit users' access to the community and to remove material that, in Saleslogix's sole judgment, does not comply with the current community guidelines, or that is otherwise inappropriate for this community, harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. Saleslogix also retains the right to assign such right to some members of the community. Saleslogix is not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such material. Moderators may take any action they deem necessary in their own judgment to support the community guidelines, and, in general, prohibit content that can detract from the experience of other users or the purpose of the support community. Such actions may include editing or deleting material and banning individual users.
Violation of the Saleslogix community guidelines or other terms could result in the suspension or termination of your access to these services. If your account is suspended, you will not be able to sign in.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Members like you are providing most of the material in the community. Such third-party content is the sole responsibility of the person originating the material. Saleslogix does not control and is not responsible for this third-party material.
Saleslogix does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, usefulness, non-infringement on intellectual property rights, or quality of any material that appears in the community, regardless of who originates that material. You expressly understand and agree that you bear all risks associated with using or relying on the material. Saleslogix will not be liable or responsible in any way for any content in the community, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in the material, or for any losses or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of or reliance on any material.
