I work in an out source software company in China. It is my first time to use SalesLogix. I applied for Sage SalesLogix 30-day . Now I can login the SalesLogix at a web site. But in actually, I want SalesLogix because I will integrate the SalesLogix with other program. Does SalesLogix provide a database and connect string? So that I can get data from SalesLogix conveniently.

There's definitely a database, and if you're only reading data from it (as opposed to writing to it), then I'd have to disagree with RJL here just slightly - it shouldn't be necessary to take a training course. Not that you wouldn't necessarily benefit from one, if only to better understand the schema... but as long as you're just reading the data, it's no different from any other database.
The DBMS is going to be either SQL Server or Oracle, but beyond that, the connection methodology (of which the connection string is a small part) would also be entirely up to you, your customer, your customer's IT department and DB admin(s), and so on.
(On the other hand, if you're writing data to the SalesLogix database, then all bets are off and you should really take a training course.)

... however even reading it can get you into trouble if you are not aware the "GMT" situation w/some fields...
Nothing substitutes for training.

I would actually suggest looking at our REST Web Service API - SData. you can research much of the protocol here http://sdata.sage.com
