We are trying to do a screen pop application to pop SalesLogix. I have looked at the sdk examples, but I am not finding any examples that externally controls the SalesLogix screen. Can anyone point me to an example?

In SalesLogix Windows/LAN.. you can do this by simply providing a "shortcut" of the form:
For example.. a Contact:
If SalesLogix is logged in/open, it will jump to the correct record.. if it is NOT open/Logged in, you will be prompted to login and then it will proceed to the correct record.

I assume you are meaning a command line option to SalesLogix.exe. I am able to open a "new" window and go to the proper contact but am not able to make the existing window jump to the correct record. Is there an additional flag i need in order to enable this?

Is there something wrong with my command line? This is what I am testing with.
"C:\Program Files\SalesLogix\SalesLogix.exe" slx:CONTACT/CA2EK0013516 /b SALESLOGIX_EVAL /n barb /p changeme /nosplash
Running the shortcut a second time opens a second instance of the client (to the proper contact) instead of poping the first instance to this contact. What am I doing wrong?

Create a standard desktop shortcut (or a hyperlink in a document type that supports (active) hyperlinks) and ONLY use:

I tried the first option of the shortcut, but still get the same result.
For my shortcut, I have:
I am running SalesLogix 220.127.116.1133 for the SalesLogix Client. This client is running in a virtual machine which we are also using for the Administrator and SQL.
Is there something else I can try to help me understand my mistake?

Target is wrong.. just use: slx:CONTACT/CA2EK0013516
The "system" knows it's a SalesLogix Shortcut... it's in the Windows Shell extensions in the registry.
