We have users reporting that meeting requests accepted in Outlook and transferred into SLX via EL8 can not be edited/completed/deleted in SalesLogix.
We have never given add/edit/delete rights to any of our users calendars. We upgraded from Lan 7.5.2 last month to web 7.5.3 connected to EL 8 / Exchange 2007. Our users were always able to edit/delete/complete any activity they accepted in outlook before the upgrade with no rights.
Is anyone experiencing this same challenge with SLX users?
If you have experienced this please post any fixes, work arounds or acknowledgements from Sage about the issues. Thanks!

In general I found that it is great to have equal calendar right configurations in outlook and slx.
What happens if you schedule a meeting from outlook is, that EL sets the leader to admin in slx.
I do not exactly know under which conditions this happens, but check it out.
What I did is write a sql script which can be executed from admin which set the leader to the person in which calendar the meeting is.

How often do you run the sql you created? Daily, weekly, monthly etc?
Sounds like a work around solution we can try. Would you be willing to share the sql you created? Thanks.

I run the statement manually from time to time.
Here you go:
