Hi Guys!
We have a lot of clients that complain about the icon layout in the Windows Task bar for 8.0 and 8.1.
When you have over the Saleslogix icon you now receive loads of windows above compared to before where it was all in one window.
Another is if you have two instances of Saleslogix client open and entities inside both of them, you are unable to know which is in which Saleslogix instance.

There should be an option to chose how you want this function to look or to put it back to how simple it was before!
Thanks
Hi Jake,
This is a feature of Windows that Saleslogix recently started to support in an effort to be the most compatible with future versions of Windows. The feature can be turned off in Windows using the steps in the following link:

The article is specific to Windows 7 but it should be the same for Windows 8.

Hi Kevin,
We have tried that in our environment and we have Windows 8 and Saleslogix 8.1.
However it shows two different instances which is brilliant but it still shows all of the entities for both of them regardles if you hover one or the other.
Thanks
Hi J,
I am still looking into your feedback. At this point, I'm not sure if it's a change we can effect or if it's a feature of Windows. Brief testing shows the same behavior for other software (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Paint, etc.).
