Currently, Office 2010 is not supported (and Intelli-Sync does not work), and there is no version even scheduled to support it. We need to get SLX working with the current version of office asap.
I agree- we are about to do a complete PC refresh on a 64 bit platform which we now realise we cannot do due to 1 application in our company - SalesLogix.
Surely we are not the only company in the world planning to upgrade to a 64 bit platform in the next few months.
Thats not correct jperona, only intelisync is supported . In the LAN client the addins for outlook dont load in correct places and merge templates become greyed out when added to the write menu, theres also bugs with excel export.
Office 2010 32 bit WAS qualified with SLX 7.5 SP3. There were some minor issues with the LAN Client. but everything worked. Intellisync was supported with a Hot Fix. ExchangeLink 8.0 HF05 supports Office 2010 32 bit.
If you do have issues, they need to be reported with the exact scenario
The 64 bit hardware is irrelevant as Office 2010 32 bit works without issue.
Thanks
Mim
So there are still "some minor issues with the LAN Client" and Office 2010 32-bit?
Is this the reason why it's not on the compatibility checklist?
In my eyes means not on the list = not supported/working.
Ok, it is now more than a year since the last post in this thread. I have applied SP3 and Outlook 2010 still crashes on startup if I have the Addressbook enabled. If I disable the addressbook, Outlook loads and executes fine. The SendSLX and Record To History functions work fine. However, there is not butt for the "Goto SLX", which is part of the addressbook. If 2010 32 bit is supported with SP3 then why is it crashing?
Is there any more information on this?
We have upgraded to Outlook 2010 (32bit) with Windows 7 64 bit OS and outlook crashes.
We are on 7.5.3
