Improvise the Sales Goals Functionality

Status: New

I know we could customize this, however it would be nice to have this feature, the scenario is as follows

Various organizations have various performance goals for productivity and business generation,it would be nice to have a section within the sales goals section

  • Ability to define goal based on fiscal period or based on Gregorian period(where definition can be by day/week/month)
  • Ability to define goals by user's role such as to generate 'x' no of Leads(marketing), 'y' no of Activities/Meeting(sales staff), 'z' ticket closures(customer service)
  • Ability to define goals by user for product based sales targets by quantity (good to have)
  • In the above case have a Goal Target field to support integer value

while we do have a feature in existence such as sales goal by user - where we can set a value based target and the actuals being available through closed opportunities - it is primarily value based.
