IMprove formatting of Model XML code as well as generated ASCX code

Status: New
by Employee on ‎11-23-2009 12:51 PM

It would be very helpful if the Model XML code as well as ASCX code (both custom form code as well as generated smartpart code) where formatted in a manner that enhances readability.

This is of particular value when doing Difference/Merging for applying and comparing upgrade bundles.

For the ASXC, something like the formatting style seen when using the Visual Studio feature:  Edit | Advanced | Format Document

For the QuickForm XML file - some format that organizes the code well visially while also makes it easier to do side by side comparisons would be very helpful.
