Create a library of industry relevant bundles

Status: New
by CRuskin on ‎03-15-2010 06:59 PM

Whether Sage or a Business Partner creates this, does not matter but, I can't understand why so much customization is required to get to the point where the solution is fully operational. Surely there are enough industry experiences across all the business partners that someone could create meaningful bundles that one could purchase to configure the system into a much more capable starting point for the respective industry.

For instance the

a) "IT software" company bundle would by default setup specific help desk escalations, workflows, emails, screens etc to get the out of box solution much closer to where it needs to be for a software company.

b) "Real estate" bundle would provide similar base functions for a realtor

c) etc

etc

The benefits are obvious, the customer gets up and running quicker with a better starting point and the vendor makes money selling the bundle.
