When you convert a lead, the owner of that lead changes to the default account owner of the user that does the conversion.
This causes a problem as now the user who manages those leads/new accounts (old owner) is no longer the owner and therefore cannot see the accounts.
Can we have an option that stops the owners changing when they are converted.
This plus one other thing we customize for almost every customer is the ability to mass assign leads to a new account manager.
We find that companies import their leads and have an idividual responsible for lead triage. In other words they need to scan the group of new leads and assign them out to the appropriate sales rep. Unless the organization has a dedicated team for lead qualification the sales reps end up doing the qualification and conversion themselves.
For us more important would be the ability for a user to select multiple leads from a lead group and then assign all selected to one specific Account Manager. As much as we try to push automating this process a lot of organizations still want to manually decide who gets which leads.
