Our customers LIVE in Outlook, like it or not. SendSLX and Record To History have become a competitive challenge.
We need "Outlook2CRM - like" integration (inclusive) which allows consultants (or even customers) to build work "processes" that spawn AFTER basic validation checks occur.....like is the Contact in the database, No?, then help me add the contact and then continue with the process I started. Doing everything from one button (which it doesn't do) is not the answer.
Having to purchase a 3rd party add-on (as awesome as it is) is a show stopper in many deals. The other show stopper is the fact that we are being driven to the web, yet no new Outlook Integration was introduced to this new and advanced environment.
The amount of time that someone who lives in Outlook has to spend dealing with these delinquencies is sginificant. 3rd Party or Interna. We need comprehensive Outlook integration. See Infusionsoft
Sage,
We’re in an unfriendly predicament with our users, because they LOVE using Outlook but Sage’s integration leaves much to be desired. We use EL in our organization, but we'd like to know if there is something better...

Take a look at what the OPEN SOURCE SUGAR CRM has done, by clicking here.
As you can see, you can quickly and easily do most of your operations from within Outlook. This would be a HUGE win with our users and organization as a whole.
We are current users of Exchange Link with SLX Web 7.5.3 and I must admit, our experience has been a mixed. Its service is barebones when compared competitor products. I know Sage has potential, let’s make this product take off! I have confidence in you! Let’s see a nice streamlined integration package in the near future!
Status check. This Idea is going into it's 3rd year and is marked as accepted. I probably missed something at bootcamp. Can someone provide an update please?
So the Status for this Idea has changed from Accepted to Under Consideration ... according to the IdeaLogix Submission Guidelines .. this means it has actually gone backwards?
Hello Tom - sorry for the late response. We are in the process of updating the Submission Guidelines. We no longer use the Accepted value - Under Consideration took its place so it is a lateral change and not a step backwards. Sorry about any confusion.
Thanks for using the forum.
