Account Owner Lookup Box restrictions by configuration

Status: New
by Copper Contributor on ‎05-13-2011 02:36 PM

I would like to see the Account Owner lookup dialog be restricted by configuration options.  If a company is not using individuals, or everyone teams to have it removed as an option would reduce the need for realignments and additional user education.  This would help data administrators and end users alike in keeping the database configurations as clean as possible.

I would like this applied to both LAN and Web etc.  This would major in terms of ease of use.

We would like this as well. So many times the wrong thing is assigned as the owner. We use teams exclusively and they will pick a user. This makes the record seemingly invisible.

I don't see where this got any traction though.

Using a restricted lookup on the SecCode Table as a workaround being replaced by a configurable Team Lookup object would be way cool.....same thing for User's....
