AA - Build Warnings related to single-threaded-apartment v. MTA

Status: New
by Employee on ‎12-02-2009 07:28 PM

I definitely do not wish to see any suppression of warning levels, etc.

Just a little cleanup refinement request please.

Would it be possible for a future version of AA to set the process threading model to whatever the .Net compiler would be happier with so that we do not have these distracting warding msgs in the Build Log Window.

There are 9 warnings for the same thing presented when I do a Ctrl-Build of  Web Platform.

Similarly - there are a few other warnings that might be able to be taken care of  by making some small tweak to a few source files (ContactLeadSource.cs, OpportunityCompetitor.cs, Ticket.cs)

I rely on the build warnings to tell me if I've possibly done anything a bit wrong - not an uncommon thing for me Smiley Very Happy and the other warnings are distracting. I am afraid I am developing a habit of to looking very closely due to the noise.

Sorry, last sentence should read:

I am afraid I am developing a habit of *NOT* looking very closely due to the noise.

Agree.. this has been there way too long and it's seems weird to say to oneself... just ignore the warnings as long as there are only "x" number of them.
