We have a customer who is constantly having issues as they are installing 64-bit versions of Office.
This is because their IT company installs 64-bit every time.
As most machines these days are 64-bit it would be nice if you were able to have a 64-bit version of SalesLogix.
This would then hopefully solve the majority of issues for integration with Office.
Thanks

FYI - unless one is a big Excell (or Access user) - 64 bit version of Office really do not do anything for the user.
It's also been posted all over the net that very few software companies make (office) 64 bit compatable apps.. so why should Saleslogix expend valuable development $$$ on dealing w/ 64 bit office?
It's so simple to install 32 bit on 64 bit systems.. just choose it on the install - it's one media for both 32 and 64 bit.
I would say it was easier to put 32-bit apps on.
But seeming as more machines are coming with 64-bit, they are gonna have to move to 64-bit at some point.
Most things are coming as 64-bit applications, it might cost $$$ in development but sonner or later they will have to do it.
Like I posted above.. I've had a suggestion in for almost 5 years now on this very subject of 64 bit - don't count on it happening soon (but I could be proven wrong toomorrow ;-)
