SLX Web 7.5.1 - Dirty Data Message

Hi,

Is there a way to programatically make the "Unsaved Data" message appear and have it invoke the alert if you don't save?

This would be necessary in a case where I have some complicated data manipulation on the detail form and I am not using the EntityBinding. I still want the user to know he has to save before leaving the form.

Thanks!

Henry,

Make sure that you call this event "this.EntityContext.ContextChanged += new Sage.Platform.Application.ContextChangedEventHandler(EntityContext_ContextChanged);" in IntializeComponent method.

I don't understand. I have a dropdown that stores a value, and when it changes (no postback) I need the dirty data message to appear and the prompt to appear if the user tries to close or change account before saving. Is this possible?

Thanks

Make sure that you call this event in  IntializeComponent method

this.EntityContext.ContextChanged += new Sage.Platform.Application.ContextChangedEventHandler(EntityContext_ContextChanged);

The above code will keep track of the events happened inside the page.
