SLX 8: how to get changes made with Form Editing back to the local Model

Hi,

Is there a way to get the changes made by SalesLogix administrators using the Form Editing feature in the SlxClient back to the local Model? I'd like to make those changes permanently available in my local Model to be able to edit them from the Application Architect.

BTW, how are changes made with Form Editing stored?

Regards,

Hi Marcos,

The Application Architect help topic, "Editing a Quick Form in the Web Client", discusses where the changes are stored and how you can see Form Designer changes in the Application Architect project the Web Client was deployed from. To apply the form changes to a different Application Architect project, you'd have to take the usual steps to apply changes in one project to another - project backup/restore or bundling.

Regarding documentation, also see  "About Dynamic Customization". Let me know if you have more questions so I can enhance the help.

Warm Regards,

Lori
