SLX 7.5.2 Web - Change a Controls Text

Hi all,

i like to change the Text of the Control MainPhone in AccountDetails.

How can i access the control to change it's properties?

Is the best/only way to do this thru a business rule?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Re: SLX 7.5.2 Web - Change a Controls Text

I assume you are talking about the caption.

You can change it in AA.

If you are using a localized vesion of slx you have to change the project culture first.

Just open up the form and show the properties of the control and change the caption.

If you want to do this at run time, you might do a c# code snippet or a combination of business rule and c# code snippet.

Why not use the "load action" on your webpart?

Re: SLX 7.5.2 Web - Change a Controls Text

Hi Alexander,

Hi Damien,

i have to do this at run time.

I like to change the caption to a link. The link contains a function for dialing the PhoneNumber, like <a href="tksuite:<030123456789>">Main</a>.

I tried it manually with the caption of a text box. It worked.

I have a business rule to get the Number, but was not succesfull yet, to change the caption of MainPhone.

So: how to change the caption on runtime?

Regards

You can add in the load action an attribute to the label.

Try this: yourlabel.Attributes.Add("onclick","tksuite:<030123456789>");
