New Mainview from SQL view

I have a simple SQL view that I made into a Mainview in SLX.

Everything goes OK so far. When I create a group in the groupbuilder and include some fields in the group the data shows up but no matter what I do I can't seem to make any column hyperlink to the Entity Details page.

If I manually type the URL into the address bar, the details page comes up fine - like this:

http://localhost:3333/slxclient/SpotTrades.aspx?entityid=300001

I checked the "entity Linked" check box on all the columns but none work.

Any ideas what to look for?

The SQL view is simple:

Create VIEW [sysdba].[CFXSpotTrades2]
AS
SELECT      ROWTYPE as RowType,
   Cast(TRANID as  Varchar(12)) as CFXSpotTrades2ID,
   TRANDATE as TranDate,
   Cast(TRANCODE as Varchar(4)) as TranCode,
   cast(STATUS as Varchar(1)) as TranStatus
FROM dbo.CFXTrans
WHERE (ROWTYPE = 1)

Re: New Mainview from SQL view

Maybe another way to ask the question is; What are the requirements to allow a SQL view to be useable as an Entity in the SLX web client. (SLX 7.5.4)

Re: New Mainview from SQL view

p.s. I can make it work if I manually create a dummy table in the SLX DB Admin then drop the table in SQL manager and create a matching view but that is a lot of work when the tables are really large and I would like to avoid that process if possible.

Re: New Mainview from SQL view

A - Use the facility DB manager to convert it properly (RMB)....

B - Make sure the unique keyfield (for the view) is defined in RESYNCTABLEDEFS - it might note be.. there's been a "bug" lurking here ;-)
