Log4Net Exeception while interface building

Hi All,

We are in process of migrating one SLX web Project from 7.5.2 to SLX 8.1. After creating couple of entities when we had tried to build interfaces, we are getting follwoing error.

ERROR - <log4net.Error>Exception rendering object type [System.CodeDom.Compiler.CompilerError]<stackTrace>System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at System.CodeDom.Compiler.CompilerError.ToString()
at log4net.ObjectRenderer.DefaultRenderer.RenderObject(RendererMap rendererMap, Object obj, TextWriter writer)
at log4net.ObjectRenderer.RendererMap.FindAndRender(Object obj, TextWriter writer)</stackTrace></log4net.Error>

Workaround we had tried,

i. Clearing output folder

ii. Changing Build search path to

%BASEBUILDPATH%\assemblies;%BASEBUILDPATH%\interfaces\bin;%BASEBUILDPATH%\forminterfaces\bin

But none of these has worked for us.

Can some one put some light on this.

Regards

Re: Log4Net Exeception while interface building

Did you try this build path:

%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\SalesLogix;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\Platform;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%\SupportFiles;%BASESAGEINSTALLPATH%

You may have to change it back after the initial build.
