InsertContact.aspx - Can't get event to fire

Hi guys

I am modifying the InsertContact.aspx to include custom fields that we require. I am able to add in the fields no issues. However, I want to add some code on the PickList change event but cannot seem to get it to fire at all.

ASP Control:

<div class="lbl">
<asp:Label ID="pklAccountStatus_lz" AssociatedControlID="pklAccountStatus" runat="server" Text="<%$ resources: pklAccountStatus.Caption %>"></asp:Label>
</div>
<div class="textcontrol">
<SalesLogixSmiley TongueickListControl runat="server" ID="pklAccountStatus" PickListId="kSYST0000381" PickListName="Account Status" MustExistInList="false"
AlphaSort="true" OnPickListValueChanged="pklAccountStatus_PickListValueChanged" />
</div>

Change event:

protected void pklAccountStatus_PickListValueChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Text1.Text = "Something";
/* IContact contact = (BindingSource.Current as IContact);

if (contact != null)
{
IAccount account = GetCurrentAccount(contact);
if (account != null)
{
if (account.Status == "Accredited Partner")
{
pklAccountSubStatus.PickListName = "Accredited Partner";
account.Sub_Status = "";
//SubStatus.Text = "";
}
else if (account.Status == "Competitor")
{
pklAccountSubStatus.PickListName = "Account Competitor";
account.Sub_Status = "";
}
else if (account.Status == "Customer (Active)")
{
pklAccountSubStatus.PickListName = "Account Customer";
account.Sub_Status = "";
}
else if (account.Status == "Prospect")
{
pklAccountSubStatus.PickListName = "Account Prospect";
account.Sub_Status = "";
}
else if (account.Status == "Suspect")
{
pklAccountSubStatus.PickListName = "Account Suspect";
account.Sub_Status = "";
}
else
{
pklAccountSubStatus.Enabled = false;
//account.Sub_Status = "";
}
}
} */
}

Is there anything else I should be doing to get the event to fire? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Byron
