Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index

Hi All,

We are facing a strange issue when ever we try to search items for speed search. Please find the description below

When we import Leads from the CSV Files in to SalesLogix, SLX will store CSV Files in the Sync Logs Folder given at the time of  installing  SalesLogix . Now in our scenario the shared path is

 \\slx\Sync Logs\Documents\Import\Processing

So, while we try to Search accounts/Contacts/Opportunities/  from the speed search TOOL in SLX 7.5.2  it will not only  search for attachments under that respective account/contact/Opportunity but  it will also search in the imported CSV files with the key word given in the speed search box.

The issue we were facing because we try to search an account's (account name is Test Medical Health Centre) attachments which  is an imported Lead first(Later became Account) SLX is Searching for the Test Medical Health Centre in the imported CSV file as there is no attachments in the attachments tab for Test Medical Health Centre Account and dispalaying the results.

While we try to open the results we are getting a below error

We're sorry, your request could not be completed.

Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index

While we try to search the same in the LAN SpeedSeach Tool we are getting and able to open results with out any issue.

The Current version we are using is SLX 7.5.2 (with out any Hot Fixes)

Is there any HOTFix released for this defect.

 Please Suggest

Thanks in Advance

Jack

Any Hot Fixes that Sage SalesLogix has released are posted to the SalesLogix Support site. However, there are (typically) no announcements of these posts made to any category in the community. You need to log into the support site (Support.SalesLogix.com) on a regular basis to see what is available and if it is applicable to your installation.

You can also access the Sage SalesLogix Knowledge Base thru the support "portal" as well to see if there's any info available on your issue(s) as well.

Of course it goes without saying, you have to have a valid "maintenance" contract w/Sage SalesLogix to (legally) access or use these updates and/or access the KB.
