Closed-Won Opportunity Issue on 7.5.3 Web

We have added to the closed won form an additional field to collect not only the gross(SalesPotential) but also the Net revenue generated from the opportunity. We set the values to 0 when the user launches the closed-won form so that they must manually enter the correct values. We have checks agaist the values to ensure that no 0's are entered when the Ok button is clicked.. the issue is that some users are clicking the small 'x' at the the top of the form and this is bypassing the check for values and canceling the form. Since the opportnuity status is posted back from the detail form inorder to fire the OnChange event we are ending up with opporutnities showing 0 net revenue. How can I capture the 'x' click of the form. I have tried to see if there are any form attributes I can catch, and event I can grab so I can implement check, or at least change the opportunity status back to open.

Ideally, I would like to hide the 'x' on the Opportunity closed Won form...

Anyone have an idea how I can accompish that..?

thanks in advance
