At one time the "ignore" feature worked - basically it is supposed to be a "filter" that slmn.dll uses to ignore some attachments in saving email - specifically those "messy" png,, jpg, gif, etc items that are a a couple of kb or smaller. These do nothing but "trash-up" the attachment table and are totally useless.
Here's the original info on this item:
It's just not working anymore. Anyone else experiencing this same issue?

Thanks RJ, great info.
Do you know of a way to clean up all the junk attachments that this allowed? Like files < 1K with names like imageNNN.gif / jpg / png, etc.

Does the 'Exclude graphics files' option not work for you within the SLX75SP2Conversion.exe? The reason I ask this is because I’m currently working on a support issue where this functionality is not excluding the specified images for our customer but appears to work fine for me..

Yep.. know about it.. but the SLX registry "hack" did work for a long time.. and now doesn't.. SLX needs to fix this.
For now I use TaskCentre (on my system and customer systems that have it) to delete the junk and fix up the attachment table.
Using a 50 cal to do the job of a 22 ;-)
