Re: RE: Broken/Defective Controls in Version 8.0 Windows Release

Reviewing the docs - I'm not sure that I actually see this in the fix. Update 02 *does* fix the numpad 1 issue - but I don't see that it will fix the 3D effects ? This (HF02) does fix the FormatType issues previously in the slxcontrols.ocx fix issued separately. It may be under the Win8 support - I've downloaded but if someone could post-back that it does fix the 3D issues that'd be great !

Re: RE: Broken/Defective Controls in Version 8.0 Windows Release

Per-se, I did not see it in the notes either, but I compared versions from the original ocx file we could download which was 8.0.0.8492 and noticed that the new ocx file in this hot fix is 8.0.0.8553.  I am HOPING since this is a higher version it incorporates all the changes from the previous one?  But I would like verification....

My personal suspicion is that would change in any event for the Win8 Support.

Just run it upp against the Eval db and look at Account Details.. you will see if teh 3d stuff got fixed as well quickly.

I'll check it myself as soon as I get a "paid" piece of work later today.
