Header Field Alignment in Merge Template

SLX 7.5.2 LAN

 

I have an Opportunity merge template that has a custom field of type "table" that returns a sql query. I'd like to format the alignment of the header fields to be center-bottom instead of center-top. It appears that standard functionality won't allow me to do that. Any ideas?

The formatting options are based on Microsoft Word's table formatting options, which doesn't provide for this. You would have to use a custom mail merge field and create and format the table yourself.

Yes, that's what I used, the custom merge field.  But It appears that it won't allow me to adjust the vertical alignment. Any ideas?

I'd take a look at Word's SpaceBefore and SpaceAfter properties of the ParagraphFormat object associated with the range/selection.
