Blast from the past - ADDRESS table - TYPE field

Time to dig WAY back (remember the "way-back machine ;-) and see if anyone remembers when/IF the TYPE field was ever/last used?

AFAIK, it was not used from 6.2.0 and up...

I have not ran across it since that era either.  Boy, you are digging way back aren't you?

Actually, who says it was EVER used.

Way back in the 3.x days when I came up with my own Activity\History model, I used Address Type  for Restaurant, Buyer Office, Golf Course, Hotel, etc. kind of a Google before it was even available....

Give me all my Restaurants in PostalCode ......

I think you are correct.. a field that was never really used.

Well.. I'm using it in a new customization. Find it's a really ton's better than the "Description" field.
