opportunities

I am trying use opportunity tracking.  I have set up opportunities.  I have also set up "opportunity stages" using administrator.

I cannot see where to use the "opportunity stages".  Do I have to first set up a product and assign stages by product?  if so, what are the "opportunity stages" used for?

Opportunity.Stages field is used to store the SalesProcess Stage.

 

You need to:

   Design your SalesProcess(s)

   Users assign to an opp..

   SalesProcess Stages/Steps are in the SP tab in Op.

 

It's all in the Help files.

step 2 above...did you mean contacts assign to an opp?
