We are looking to use the Ticket module for our in house repair department but find many features are missing. We require the ability to enter equipment information (unit, manufacturer, model, condition, accessories, search the contract module to see if it is under warranty and then search our MAS500 system for date purchased to determine if their is a manufacturers warranty) as well as similar info for Loaner equipment and occaisonally we out source the repair and need to capture name, address etc. As well the ability to add service parts, we haven't figured it out yet and the method of tracking time using the punch in / out process might work if the world was round but we require the ability to just have the tech enter 3 hours if that's how long he worked on the repair.
Is anyone using Tickets for this purpose or knows of a third party software that would allow us to do this?
