SLX v8 and IE 10 and 11

Is the 64bit version of IE compatible with SLX v8? We've got a few users running Windows 8 and IE 10/11 who are unable to log into the web portal (they just sit at a spinning wheel/sun-type icon). Someone mentioned we needed to install the 32bit version of IE, but that struck me as odd that the SLX tool would not support a 64bit version of a browser that comes on every PC out there

Thanks for the reply. So anyone running Windows 8 has to uninstall their current version of IE and install the 32bit version? Do we know if SP is planning to support the 64bit version?

Yes, it does work - just set the site to safe site and don't enable compatibility mode (or, if using earlier than v8 web - make sure it IS set to compatibility mode).

Do you mean trusted sites? if so, we're not using SSL so IE won't let us add it since it's not https. And yes, we're running v8 so I'll make sure compatibility mode isn't active for the SLX site.

Doesn't need a cert - just unstick box "requires https"

D'oh! Reading is fundamental, huh? Thank you! Had my user try it and it worked. Thanks again!
