Picklists

Is there anyway in a picklist or some other type of list to have a list dependent on the first selection.

We have a list which consists of Accounting Firms, and we need a list which is the employees for the accounting firm selected.

If A&C LLP was selected it would show me the 4 employees at A&C LLP, then is T&B LLP was selected, the second selection would be their 3 employees, etc.

Something list the Area/Category/Issue for tickets.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

Thanks

Jason

Re: Picklists

Sure.. but you are not going to do it without some "code".

I suggest you either contact/contract your SalesLogix BP - or just contact us ;-)

Re: Picklists

If you like to dabble check out the code for the OnChange Event on the Account Type picklist which is associated to the Account Sub-Type picklist. If not, contact RJ Smiley Happy

Good example Adam! .. and thanks for the recommendation... To add - for those on the "other side of the pond" - Adam and Mike are the goto guys!

Re: Picklists

Thanks for the example.

I played around with the code, and it works well.
