attachment error

Hi there

 

I was trying to make a posting on 752 beta (web) board.. with an attachment called "Activity View Check Disappears.rtf"..

 

used "add attachments" then browsed to doc and clicked post.. then browswer hung.. then:

"an unexpected error occured"..

 

is it me?

worked this out.. attachment was too big.. (but error message was not very friendly)..

 

I also later discovered it does not allow .docx files.. so if you write something up as supporting doc you have to convert to pdf.. or just upload images...

 

older and wiser..

Hi Duncan,

 

FYI, we can control the types of files that the community allows.   You should be able to upload a .docx now.  Please feel free to reach out to me personally if you find something isn't functioning as you'd expect in the community.  Often times, we'll have control over it, or it may be something we can request of our software provider to make the community more user friendly.
