Please don't make us scroll down past so much on the page to get to the content we are here for. The Facebook widget and now the poll push the only links I am interested in down even furter on the page (the recent posts & thread links). Then on the recent posts page I have to scroll past those to get to the lists as well. A small annoyance, but an annoyance none the less.

Yes.. the Community home page is really looking "junky".... Lots of stuff that most of us are really not interested in and it significantly decreases it's usability.
Time for a complete "face lift" (maybe a re-do) of it.
