Hi Ben,
Windows 7 is not supported until 7.5.2 - Weve had a customer trying to install it on v7.2.2 with errors too.

If you want to install the service pack 2 version 7.5, although you should first install version 7.5.0 isn't it!
Bet regards,
Ben

As adam posted.. forget even trying to run SalesLogix on Windows 7 until SP2 for 7.5 is released. 7.5.2 is (at this moment in time) teh only version that will support installation/running SalesLogix Windows/LAN (remotes of course as well).
FYI - .. 7.5.2 does install and run VERY well on Windows 7. NO UAC disablement required/needed. It also fixes things so that you should be able to install/run w.UAC on for Vista (business) as well.

Yes I know...
But how to install SP2 without SalesLogix installed on Windows 7 ?
First you need to install SLX 7.5.0 and after install the SP 2. Isn't it ?
But I have problem when I install the SLX 7.5.0...

Im sure Sage will supply v7.5.2 disks? If not, just create a custom build install.

Hi Ben,
I'm not sure about the error you are receiving. Can you tell me exactly what SalesLogix Components you are installing on Windows7. I will replicate your efforts and see what I can come up with. Is the WIndows7 machine 32 bit or 64 bit?
Thanks.

I had NO problems installing the 7.5.0 then SP2 on Windows 7. Just make sure:
A - As teh user you have admin rights on the Windows 7 system
B - Use the right mouse click run as administrator when you click in setup(.exe) in the dvd image
C - After 7.5.0 is installed, repeat B for running the SP2 update.
D - reboot
