I am looking to upgrade SLX to version 7.5.3 but first need to bring my 2000 server up to a compatible version. 2003 server is difficult to obtain so I was wondering if I could just go to a 2008 server 32bit. This machine would just be running the server application, WGLogs, attachments and the sync server....the actual database would reside on a SQL Server 2005 machine which is a different box.
Thanks for any in site.

Hi,
If you go by the SalesLogix compatibility guide it is not supported until v7.5. (that is not to say it will not work though..) However, if you do have issues you will have nothing to fall back on.

Hi Josh,
We're running 7.2.2 on Server 2008 R2 which is the 64-bit OS, so I don't see any reason you'd not be able to get the 32-bit OS to accept it. There are a couple of other related threads on this board. Here is one of them. A quick search should bring up a couple more.
