Web: Can't access login screen (Object reference not set to instance of an object)

New deployment on Windows 2008 (32-bit) with SQL 2008 and IIS 7.

 

SLX Lan works fine, had difficulty deploying the Web client and realized that was due to the IIS 6 compatibility not being installed.  Once installed, I could deploy in AA, but when you go to open the portal, the login page does not even display.  Instead, you get the message below stating that an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Did you follow the Implementation Guide?

 

Especially:

* WebDLL User (Page 10,11)

* Granting ASP.NET (Page 11)

* Web Rewuirements (Page 12)
