Unsepcified error while trying to connect to Sql server 2008 R2

I had been running into this error of
“Database login failed: Unspecified error”

While trying to connect to saleslogix database which is on Sql server 2008 R2 (10.5.1600),

I am certain the connection from saleslogix server to sql server is not being made correctly as while trying to setup connection to the saleslogix server it never gave a warning box of repopulating the systeminfo table.

Is there a patch or additional setting I am missing here for sql 10.5.1600 ?

Check and ensure you have configured it correctly (it looks like you have done - but when you go back and check it won't have setup correctly).

Re: Unsepcified error while trying to connect to Sql server 2008 R2

Busted the issue by logging into Sql server with user "sysdba' it was found that it still had sysdba prefixed with sysdba table (sysdba.account).

This happened because the database was restored while logged in as sysdba user itself, not sure if this happened but deleting the user from sql server and readding it user exec_spchangeowner 'updateone', 'sysdba', 'sysdba' fixed it.
