Re: There are no sites registered with the personal web server.

Hey RJ, still thinking why I would need to deploy the intellisync portal at the server....what I need is to be able to sync a local outlook calendar with a local remote database on the users laptop....then outlook would sync  with it's exchange server as per normal and same goes with slx sync back to slx server db.......I guess the idea here is that any updates to intellisync would get pushed from the server intellisync portal to the remote users portal on the laptop, then the actual outlook to slx sync would only happen locally on the laptop?

Thanks for your input......

Re: There are no sites registered with the personal web server.

The intellisync is local to the remote.. to the remote's db... and it is a web service based setup. Trust me.. you need to "synch" the Intellisync portal TO the remote so that it will install on the remote correctly.

You are welcome... I went down this path a while ago.. and this is the least painless way to do it and be sure it will work.
